A pioneer organisation for distinguished youth.
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (or WAMY) has been serving the youth globally for more than 43 years. WAMY is a registered UN Non-Governmental-Organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We operate offices in 36 countries on 6 continents.
Our primary aim is to build bridges of peace and unity between Muslims and the general multicultural society.
Right here in Australia we established our first office in Melbourne with interstate volunteers assisting local initiatives.
Focusing our efforts to educate the Muslim youth in our western environment, we organise projects such as camps in Australia, Fiji and New Zealand, leadership and community outreach programs such as the WAMY Asian Cup Project 2015. We choose projects that instill good will, sacrifice and generosity within the participants and will make them more productive members of society.WAMY is a non-governmental youth and student organization affiliated with the United Nations. It supports those involved in young Muslims’ personal and social development and works to enable them to fulfill their potential in the Australian society.
